Hey there!
If you're reading this, you probably know how much I love listening to and playing music — you might have even been to a Next Day Air show! I’ve always enjoyed discovering new artists and genres, and a few years ago, I found CHIRP Radio, a local radio station that broadcasts online and over-the-air in Chicago. It’s like having a friend who always knows about new music and is eager to share it (here's a link to listen online: chirpradio.org/in-browser).
What makes CHIRP special is that it’s completely independent and commercial-free, supported by listeners and almost entirely run by volunteers. Over time, I found myself tuning in daily — whether on my commute or while doing chores around the house (baby Jules has heard plenty and loves it already!) I quickly realized that I wanted to give back to the station that has introduced me to so much incredible music.
That’s why earlier this year, I joined CHIRP’s Associate Board. Now, I’m setting a personal goal to raise $500 for CHIRP by June 10.
Your donation — big or small — will make a huge impact. Plus, it’s tax-deductible! But more importantly, any amount you can contribute means a lot to me.
